  Carrie was our waitress, friendly and really quick. Clean place, the yeast rolls are AWESOME, the homemade ranch dressing makes the cold, crisp salad even better. Enjoyed the fried mushroom appetizer. The chicken fried steak was adequate and not a typical cream gravy.

  Amazing place, the owner is a marketing genius. Anyone from the 3 rivers George West area know that if you bill something as a medium to high end reserving it will not last long. However if you pass it off as a steak house you will be successful. The steak selection is limited (no T bone, no porterhouse, no filet) however, don't let that slow you down from coming in. The jewels are on the specials board. I have been there no less then 20 times and only had 1 disappointment. I almost never order from the menu and if I do it's not for steak. And please don't think for a second I don't like beef, I love a porterhouse or t-bone. This is an amazing jewel in George West hidden behind a cowboy hat and boots. The staff is super friendly but not bothersome, the owner is almost always in house and visible. Great big city dining in a small town. Love this please and can't wait to return. Moderatly priced.
